| I just randomly remembered about Xanga and attempted to log in. and here I am. I hardly ever use English here so I'm starting to kinda forget it, so I hope my Xanga readers (if there's anyone left, of course) won't mind:) It's hard to believe that I have already been in Tokyo for longer time than the time I lived in Tennessee. I don't know where to start or what to write because updating Xanga was just a random thought arose in me to begin with. ok, I'm still in school. I'm finishing up graduate school now, concentrating in Precision Engineering. I had been thinking for a long time that I was going to persuade my career as an engineer or a researcher. but as I started applying for some companies, I found management consulting interesting, and decided to go for it. and I got an offer from one of American consulting firms. I'll start working there as a consultant when I finish up Master's degree. Right now I'm very excited about this decision I made about my career path. but as for now I'm just enjoying the rest of my school life. I enjoy ordinary daily life with lots of researching, traveling, hanging out with friends, and so on. I haven't had chance to visit the states for past 5.5 yrs. Instead, I go to Singapore, where my parents now live, once in a while. In fact, I'm visiting them this month too. just hoping all my old friends are doing well no matter where they are or what they're doing | | |
| I remember about my xanga like every 3 months and log in. Every time that happens, it's when I feel overwhelmed and want to have some excuse to procrastinate without feeling bad.
Xanga doesn't do that for me. oh well.
update of my life: everything's good!
-precision engineering is my major now. -singing everyday. I love it. -working part-time at a restaurant. It's a good work-out, actually... -moved to a new apartment. considerint its location, size, and price, I'm very satisfied. -procrastinating, as always. Nothing much to say about this. -a boyfriend who probably loves math more than he loves me. -but I have not been able to get him out of my mind for past 1 year.
anyone still reads my xanga? I really don't know, oh well. but I've always been thinking about what kind of effect 5 years of my life in Knoxville has done to me, and....I won't write in details just because that would take good several hours away from me. but anyways all i want to say is that having the memories of those 5 years definitely makes me stronger of a person. Anyone has problems to face, but it's all about what she gets from it. sometimes a picture of just everyday scene in Knoxville cross my mind randomly. or just random phrase someone told me. I'm happy to have such moments of nostalgies.
I guess one of the reasons why I update xanga once in a while is so that someone would hopefully remember I had connection to their lives once.
| hello everyone!
good thing i hadn't forgotten my password for this xanga...
right now i'm at library, working on my essay....or procrastinating.
i dunno what i should wright about after leaving behind my xanga for like an year. so..yeah, life is good. i'm alive:)
so what has changed in this 1.5 years of college life? let me see.... i've been singinging whole alot. alot. like at least several hours a day for past half an year. and i love it! no piano. oh well. i need to decide my major in 2 months, and i still can't decide. but engineering is so much fun. it's just so hard to decide on one thing to concentrate on.... to me, at least.
i wish friends from back in Tennessee would come visit me in Tokyo sometimes.
ahhhhh.....stupid essay........stupid me, stop procrastinating........

what have i been doing? -the last 2 weeks of July: final exams part 1(eww!...haha) -the first 2 seeks of August: camping with my choir...fun time! -Aug 14 to 22: went home in Kyoto.. home sweet home!!! -Aug 22 to 31: supposed to be studying for final exams part 2, but actually.....haha -Sept 1 to 5: final exams part 2!! -Sept 6 to... {i don't remember when}: FALL BREAK!!! whee!!
i'm definitely forgetting my English. my English wasn't all that good to begin with so technically i didn't have much to lose. but even now as i'm writing this entry i have to actually "think" about English and not just type as i thought i wanna type...if that makes any sense at all.....
anyways, my summer has been great so far! (don't mention about exams. i will study, i will...*nervous laugh*)
ahhhh, i'm so lazy.
